Longtime dentist at Michels Family Dental in La Mesa, CA Dr. Paul Fjeldsted has taken ownership of the dental practice and renamed it La Mesa Hills Dentistry. Under Dr. Fjeldsted’s ownership, La Mesa Hills Dentistry remains the same family-oriented, well respected practice patients have come to know.

Located in La Mesa, California, La Mesa Hills Dentistry (formerly Michels Family Dental) is a multi-specialty dental practice providing routine dental care as well as services including cosmetic dentistry, dental bridges, root canals, dental implants, periodontal therapy, orthodontics and teeth whitening. Dr. Paul Fjeldsted, a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego Dental Society, is well- versed in all the specialty services offered.

A graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School, Dr. Fjeldsted completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His training in biomimetic dentistry allows him to use the latest technology to implement conservative and preventative procedures. Dr. Fjeldsted’s goal is to establish a relationship of trust with all his patients by understanding their individual needs and expectations.
